Accelerating Africa’s oil and gas landscape

Uganda International Oil and Gas Summit (UIOGS) will be held from 25-26 September 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda.

Seeking to gather more than 400 attendees from across 125 national and international companies, UIOGS 2019 is established as the must-attend meeting for all stakeholders in East Africa.

Hosted by Minister Irene Muloni, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Uganda, UIOGS is supported by the Uganda National Oil Company and Petroleum Authority Uganda.

The programme examines the future of oil and gas exploration and production in Uganda, setting out the government’s vision and implementation for sustainable, long term development and bringing them together with potential private sector partners and other stakeholders, to share announcements and successes and discuss any hurdles that have been encountered.

In 2019, UIOGS will feature an exclusive round up of all bid submission on day one following the close of Uganda’s second licensing round.

EAOGS 2019

The sixth East Africa Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition (EAOGS) will be held from 26-27 November 2019 at Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi.

The event annually features over 35 high-level speakers including ministry officials, senior executives and industry experts from NOCs, IOCs, financial institutions, government authorities and embassies, service companies and industry associations. For 2019, they will gather to examine the latest opportunities and challenges in a highly informative conference led by the regions’ governments.

SAIPEC 2020

The fourth Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) will return to the Eko Convention Centre from 25-27 February 2020, in partnership with the entire sub-Saharan African petroleum industry.

Working directly with PETAN, the organisers will draw on their global resources to ensure that the event delivers to the needs of all stakeholders throughout the region.

With a record-breaking 3,500 exhibition visitors, 656 delegates from 36 countries, 11 NOC’s, 104 exhibitors and 54 speakers, the third West Africa Petroleum Exhibition and Conference was the most successful meeting place for sub-Saharan Africa’s oil and gas industry.

WAIPEC 2019 was the largest petroleum event of its kind in West Africa, as the city of Lagos welcomed in thousands of key regional stakeholders - plus leading international E&P firms and partners - to develop and drive new business across the sector. It featured in excess of 25 technical and strategic conference sessions, driven by an esteemed steering committee.
